We have just released V0.2.0 of EGBB Birmingham airport, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with the community!
We had such an amazing reception with our EGCC Manchester addon, that before the end of 2020 we couldn’t resist sharing a beta version of Birmingham Airport with all who purchased it at the end of last year! This was a little gift from us to everyone who purchased our very first airport.
This free beta preview included a brand new runway, aprons, taxi lines and stands, which meant that the airport could be used and was VATSIM and IVAO compliant!
We are now very excited to announce that the BHX Birmingham airport addon is now available in early access on our website!
Over the next couple of months, we will be working hard to get all peripheral building in, and will be continuing work on Manchester airport at the same time.
We have an amazing community in our discord server, from people who fly regularly out of the airport, to staff members working on the ground. The amazing people sent, and are still sending images and videos of the airport to help us make it 100% accurate!
The airport add-on is in early access, which is the same as we did for EGCC Manchester, so all future updates are free of charge.
On release date, the price for this airport will be £8.99!
With the release of Aerosoft’s CRJ on the horizon, we thought it would be a perfect time to release the airport, in preparation for all of those regional and international flights coming in and out of Birmingham Airport in MSFS2020!

Really looking forward to this if EGCC is anything to go by. Please do justice to the “listed” original Elmdon airport terminal building , my grandfather worked on the construction. My “home” airport ,lived on the approach path for R15 for the first 20 years of my life and have flown in and out of the airport on over 300 occasions. First flight ever hear in a Dragon Rapide around 1960. Make it shine! i know you will. Thanks in advance, Trevor Bailey

Fantastic work guys as soon as I saw this I had to buy it! gone are the days of broken MSFS Gates, Taxiways and ugly trees between the taxiway! be looking forward to seeing this project develop and seeing the fire station added for the taxi up to 15 great work!
